Kari joined The Myers Associates, P.C. after more than twenty years of accounting in small businesses, specializing in the real estate industry.  Her experience includes all aspects of financial management for small business including financial statement analysis, state and payroll taxation, general ledger close as well as business sale/purchase analysis and contract management.

​

At the Myers Associates, she is involved in individual and small business tax as well as tax and attest engagements for small businesses and not-for-profit entities.

​

Kari has her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington, and she earned certificates in Accountancy and Fraud Accounting from North Seattle College before her CPA certification.  She completed her MBA in 2018 at WGU Washington.

​

She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Seattle Chapter of the Accounting and Financial Women's Alliance and is a member of the WSCPA.

​

Fun Fact: 

Kari played flute with the Ballard Youth Band in the Syttende Mai parade - way before Ballard was hip and trendy.

What is your favorite office machine or office supply product?  Why?

Of course, post-it notes!  Why?  Because of the thrill of tearing one up when the task written on it is complete.
