Mark is a shareholder in The Myers Associates, P.C. and directs the firm’s tax and small business practice. Mark graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Mark also has a Masters in Taxation from Golden Gate University. Mark's experience includes over 27 years of public accounting experience working primarily with small businesses, individuals and not-for-profit organizations.

The small businesses Mark advises include professional services, real estate related ventures, retail clients, and health care entities.

Mark has extensive tax experience in the areas of research, planning and return preparation including: * Complex individual, corporate and partnership returns * Financial goal setting and budgeting * Cash flow analysis and management * Preparation of applications for tax exempt status * Assistance with Department of Revenue issues for not-for-profit organizations * Preparation of numerous Forms 990

Other management consulting and assistance including: * Business start-up consulting * Preparation of projected financial analysis

The not-for-profit clients that Mark advises include membership organizations, health and welfare organizations, and arts and cultural organizations. Mark believes strongly in volunteering for the good of our community and actively encourages his staff to do so as well.

Mark's volunteer activities include the following:

Brain Injury Association of Washington (www.braininjurywashington.org) - Board President 2012, Treasurer 2007-12 and 2015-present, Board member 2007-present

University of Michigan Club of Seattle - President 1994-96, Treasurer 1996-99, Board member 1993-2000; 2002-2007

Mark has been a member of the Washington Society of CPA's Taxation Committee since 1992. He chaired the committee from 2003-2005. This committee is the main venue for taxation related activities for the WSCPA.

Mark is also a member of American Institute of CPAs.
